Unique Care board panels

Unique Care uses only Carter Holt Harvey’s Pyneboard (moisture resistant grade) in  the board panels of all our products. Pyneboard is a particle board manufactured to comply with Australian standard AS/NZS1859.1.

Features of the moisture resistant grade of Pyneboard:

  • It successfully resists moisture uptake. Edge swell and surface fibre raise are kept to a minimum.
  • Even after immersion in water, there is minimal swelling (even though wood products will naturally swell). On drying out, it returns towards its original thickness.
  • The special bonding resins resist moisture and the adverse effects of occasional wetting and high relative humidity.

Our standard finish on board panels is malamine; however, laminates and textured finishes are available at an extra cost.
