Unique Care® board panels
Unique Care® uses only Carter Holt Harvey’s Pyneboard (moisture resistant grade) in the board panels of all our products. Pyneboard is a particle board manufactured to comply with Australian standard AS/NZS1859.1.
Features of the moisture resistant grade of Pyneboard:
- It successfully resists moisture uptake. Edge swell and surface fibre raise are kept to a minimum.
- Even after immersion in water, there is minimal swelling (even though wood products will naturally swell). On drying out, it returns towards its original thickness.
- The special bonding resins resist moisture and the adverse effects of occasional wetting and high relative humidity.

Head board options
Our standard finish on board panels is malamine; however, laminates and textured finishes are available at an extra cost of $80 above the standard price.

All beds are supplied with Queen Anne head boards unless otherwise specified.

Colour and wood grain options ($80 extra)
Available for Standard, Bariatric and Ward beds
We use Dulux powder coating and the highest quality wood grain laminates.
Please note that an additional charge of $80 applies for optional frame and bed end colour combinations.
